Jumbo Wood Elephant Hand Carved on Platform
Exquisite hand carved wooden Colossal Elephant sculpture with tusks. Size 6 feet tall by 6 feet long. In excellent condition, some wear expect for it age. The elephant came from the Famous Annie-Tiques Restaurant in Jacksonville. Florida. The owners collected a vast collections of antique rarities and began displayed them in the restaurant when it opened in 1973. Annie Tiques was decorated with Tiffany-style lamps, stained glass windows, surrounded by old nostalgia by gone year vintage slot machines, a towering antique bar with stain glass was the highlight, porcelain barber poles, brass cash registers, mammoth Victorian Sideboard, and other rare artifacts of the Rampart Nostalgia Era. This is the largest hand carved jumbo elephant of its kind and only one known. The wood appears to be Mahogany. The elephant is strapped to a steel dolly has 4 steel wheels to maneuver it.
