Original 1920s Theatre Minstrel Show High School Advertising Poster (21″ x 14″). $350 plus $25 ship. Acquired 25 years ago from Virgina, DC area estate dealer. Second Annual Minstrel Show Class of 1925, March 28, 1924; Adults .35 cent and Children .25 cent. Reserved Seats .15 cents. The only know original poster for this high school event. The depiction of this minstrel show character is second to none. It has pristine bright colors. This is a fantastic and colorful turn-of-the-century minstrel poster, printed by The Hennegan Co. CIN. Ohio. Poster in excellent condition with the exception of the outlining edge border that has no impact on the colored litho print. The following is on the outside edges: some surface border wear, thumb tack holes, slight staining at corners, a minor crease at corners. None of this takes away from the great art and historical significance and this very rare poster! The poster colors are nice and bright.
